At Procter, Callahan & Liska, LLC we are dedicated to providing the highest quality legal assistance to our clients and their families in a cost-effective manner.  We believe in providing personal attention to our clients because we realize that consulting an attorney can be an intimidating and overwhelming experience. We also understand that frequently we are consulted during difficult times. We strive to provide compassionate advice during anxious situations.

At Procter, Callahan & Liska LLC, we focus our practice on estate planning (including wills and trusts), elder law, special needs planning, guardianship and probate administration.  We have the knowledge, experience and passion to assist you in these areas.  Quite simply, we love what we do, and we choose to focus our practice accordingly.

As experienced attorneys working with clients of all ages, including elderly and those with special needs, we understand the special attention that may be required by our clients.  If you require special accommodation, please inform us when scheduling and we will make every effort to accommodate your needs.  Our office is fully accessible to the special needs client.  If your mobility is limited, we are generally able to schedule appointments at your location.  We are committed to helping our clients ensure that they are treated with dignity and respect as they grow older and require more assistance.

We work with all of our clients to make the estate planning process understandable.  A thorough plan ensures that property is distributed to heirs according to clients’ wishes, and that day-to-day living, health care, and financial needs are met when assistance is required due to declining physical health or diminishing capacity.  An estate plan should also address the care of minor(s) or special needs children, when appropriate.  By addressing these issues in a comprehensive manner, overall family stress is reduced.  Our goal is to create an individualized plan for each of our clients which communicates their intentions and permits the plan to be carried out by family members and loved ones in a practical and efficient manner.

We can also work with family members or those named as decision makers in estate planning documents to carry out the plan when the time comes.  We are available to assist these fiduciaries throughout the process.  This includes assistance with the probate administration process, when necessary, and planning for long term care.
